The arrangements that you provided for us were SO BEAUTIFUL and honestly even more gorgeous than the pinterest inspo posts I had sent you. I loved all of the textures and colors -- the flower types you chose were so multi-dimensional and just popped out from the arrangements. The circular arrangements turned out so perfect for the candelabras, and the flowers in the gold vases were wonderful as well. So dreamy. The bridesmaids and mothers were obsessed with their people florals, and the last minute boutiniere totally saved Nolan, haha. :)

After initially talking with her to see if she would be a good fit for our wedding in June, it was a no brainer that we wanted her to be part of our vendor team. She immediately understood our vision & she also had ideas on how to keep costs down while not skimping on the flowers.
From a sentimental standpoint - my mom passed away when I was young. I have one of her journals where she wrote down what her favorite flowers were. I relayed that information to Amy, and she was able to incorporate my mom's favorite flowers in my bouquet & throughout the arrangements. She completely knocked it out of the park. I was able to honor my mom in a very special way on my wedding day.

The absolute GOAT of florists!!!!!
There are seriously NO words to describe how insanely amazing working with Amy was. I’ll do my best to explain! I’ll start by saying we were originally supposed to be married in August of 2020 and like so many others, had to postpone due to COVID. Amy was a complete angel through the whole thing and SO kind, gracious and flexible. She (thank God!!) was available on our new date in July 2021 and just pushed everything over to the new date, no problem.
Now for her work…it’s seriously not possible to say how incredibly talented she is. She brought my vision to life literally a million times better than it even was in my head. She blew my expectations out of the water!!!! We received SO many compliments from all of our guests on our flowers. Not only is she INSANELY talented, her prices are phenomenal!!! We had some very large pieces (and I changed multiple times which she was so kind to accommodate) and it would have been 3X the price anywhere else and not nearly as great of quality. Hiring Amy is a no-brainer. She is the BEST of the best and she is a WONDERFUL human on top of it all!!

Finding Amy to do our florals for our wedding was such a relief. Flowers were one of the most important aspects to my wedding day and everyone else seemed to be 3-4 times her price. Being able to get every item on my wishlist and keeping to my budget was such a relief! I had high expectations for my floating alter, bouquet and garland centerpieces and Amy exceeded my expectations. Her communication was great and she was flexible after having to postpone my wedding a year later due to covid. Right off the bat Amy was amazing to work with. We had scheduled our wedding for 3/21/2020 and then COVID hit and we had to reschedule... twice. Each time she was extremely helpful and flexible with the changes. In the end we ended up canceling our wedding altogether and instead held a photoshoot with just the family. Amy provided a bridal bouquet and a groom boutonniere for the photos, both of which were perfect. I had a great experience working with Amy for our wedding flowers. She was very flexible and professional - I changed my flower proposal numerous times, and she was always kind and timely on getting back to me. Last minute we had her add in some larger arrangements for the isle and altar, and she willingly took it on. I had no idea what they would end up looking like, and they turned out so classy and creatively done. She showed up to the wedding venue on time and set up all of our flowers for us, so it made it easy to relax and enjoy the morning. I hired Amy from Mayfly Flowers for my wedding and she was absolutely amazing. She did all of our bouquets and boutonnieres and the centerpieces for our reception. There was a long staircase I walked down during the ceremony and she decorated it beautifully. Amy also made a gorgeous backdrop for us during the ceremony. Amy's prices were way less than every other florist I met with. I was worried that meant Amy wouldn't be as good but her work was gorgeous and professional and looked like it cost so much more than it did. I was so impressed and would highly recommend her.

I am so thankful that I found Amy and Mayfly Flowers! We were definitely on a budget for flowers but I have no experience with DIY and did not trust myself... Amy specializes with brides on a budget! She is so talented and truly understood my vision exactly. My flowers were romantic, lush, and smelled amazing!! She is so easy to get a hold of and was flexible with changes and special requests. We had a large wedding but were able to get beautiful accents for the reception, plenty of boutonnières, a flower crown for the flower girl, and more for such a good price. This vendor was an absolute gem and I'm so happy she was suggested to me as my wedding florist. Amy's work with flowers is absolutely beautiful and she has always been so flexible and creative with my input. I have to admit, I am one of those brides who know very little about flowers. I went into our initial meeting knowing what colors I needed, numbers of arrangements needed, and very little else (I'm not really familiar with different varieties of flowers so I wasn't sure what to ask for). Nonetheless, Amy asked some specific questions about the wedding and my preferences, and came up with flower arrangements that were more beautiful than anything I could have dreamed up on my own.
Oh, and the work is super-affordable. THAT is what truly impressed me; that her work is just as good (and often better) than any of the pricier wedding florists but without the huge markup. I am floored by her quality and value. Either quality would be impressive on its own, but to find both in one person? Amazing.
Why can't there be more life-events that involve a ridiculous amount of beautiful flowers? If there were, I would call Mayfly Flowers again with no hesitation.

It was the only vendor where we came out under budget and with no compromises on what we wanted. While I knew I wanted beauty, I didn't quite know what that would mean for flowers.
Amy made the process of choosing very easy and she never tried to sell me more. In fact, she was very reassuring when proposing how we could use arrangements in multiple ways and save money. She is willing to suggest as much as you like or sit back and listen to ideas you already have. I appreciated her being able to take the lead and dream up our arrangements.

We became aware of Amy's work through our wedding coordinator. Like many couples, we wanted to have a beautiful event, tailored to our tastes while still keeping our bank account intact. When we met Amy, we shared a few photos and props and described what we hoped to achieve. We knew that she had done beautiful arrangements for other weddings held at McMenamin's Grand Lodge and it was comforting that she was familiar with the venue. Amy was enthusiastic about our "Vintage Northwest Garden Party" theme and made recommendations that were on target and on budget.
Amy is organized, creative and communicates in a timely manner. She was clear about what she needed from us and over-delivered on her commitments. If you are looking for someone to design flowers specifically for you, we would highly recommend her- we feel we got much more that than we paid for.

I had chosen Amy as my florist while still in San Antonio, and did not meet her until about 2 months before the wedding. Immediately when I met her I knew it was going to be a pleasure. I gave her full creative freedom- well, almost :). I told her that I wanted local flowers (that was important to us) in yellow colors, I liked 'wildflowery' looks, and I liked sunflowers. I really had no vision beyond those words.
What she came up with for our event went above and beyond my expectations. She created a beautiful sunkissed, elegant feel to our wedding that people are still talking about. I was very lucky to have Amy create my floral arrangements for my wedding. We had a modest budget, but we were still hoping to incorporate our favorite late-summer flowers into our day. When we met with Amy for the first time a couple of months before the wedding, all we had were some basic ideas--we wanted blue hydrangeas, deep burgundy dahlias, and some touches of white and green. We were also hoping to work coffee beans into our centerpieces. Amy took our very sketchy ideas and ran with them.When the flowers arrived on the day of the wedding, they were absolutely perfect! I couldn't believe how she somehow read my mind and created just the arrangements I had been imagining. She worked white lisianthus and blue delphinium in with the hydrangeas and dahlias, and the results were GORGEOUS! Amy had suggested the lisianthus because of its rose-like look and the pop of green that the buds add, and they were the perfect complement to the hydrangeas and dahlias!The flowers were also incredibly fresh--even though I had been concerned about the hydrangeas holding up in the heat (it was 95 degrees on our wedding day), they looked great all day. And the centerpieces lasted for a week after the wedding! From start to finish, Amy was a complete joy to work with, and I'm so glad we found her. For brides who are on a budget but still want beautiful flowers for their day, I cannot recommend Mayfly Flowers highly enough. Amy will not disappoint you!
